The simplest way to add new learners is to have them self-register. Your CS team would have provided those at the beginning of the partnership. If you cannot locate them, you can request that your CSM sends them again.
If self-registration is not your preference, you can manually add learners in two ways: individually and in bulk format.
How to Add Individual New Learners
1. Go to the Hub
Navigate to hub.challengerinc.com and log in.
2. Access the "Users" Section
In the sidebar on the left, click on "Users" to open the Users menu.
3. Select "Learners"
In the Users section, you’ll see two options. Click on "Learners" to access the learner database
4. Click the Gear Icon
In the top right corner of the Learners page, click the blue gear icon.
5. Select "Add Learner"
From the dropdown menu, select "Add Learner".
6. Fill in Learner Details
You’ll be taken to the "Create a New Learner" form. Complete the required fields for the new learner:

- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Sublicense – Choose the sublicense to assign them the appropriate content access (seller, manager, marketer).
7. Send the Invite
Scroll down to the bottom of the form and click "Invite" in the bottom-right corner. This will send the user an invitation to join the Hub, and their profile will be created.
How to Bulk Upload Learners
1. Log in to the Hub
Go to hub.challengerinc.com and log in.
2. Access the "Users"
From the sidebar on the left, click on "Users" to open the Users menu.
3. Go to "Learners"
In the users section, select "Learners" to access the user database
4. Click the Gear Icon
In the top right of the Learners page, click the blue gear icon
5. Select "Bulk Important Learners"
From the dropdown menu, choose "Bulk Import Learners".
6. Download the CSV Template
To begin, click "Download CSV Template". This template is where you will enter information for each learner you want to upload.
7. Fill in the CSV Template
Open the download CSV file and fill in the required fields in the columns provided. The columns include:

- firstName: learner's first name
- lastName: learner's last name
- email: learner's email address
- externalCustomerId: Used as identifiers for SSO. This field matches the unique identifier (nameID) in the IdP. Typically this is learner's email address (and should be learner's email address if the client does not use SSO)
- status: Update learner status on specified content as not-started, started, completed or not-completed. (This can be left blank unless you are updating user progress)
- sendInvite: If you would like learners
8. Save the File
After completing the template, save it as a CSV UTF-8 file.
9. Return to the Hub
Navigate back to hub.challengerinc.com/learn/manager/user/import.
10. Confirm Template Completion
Click "I've downloaded and filled in the template" to confirm you can upload the file.
11. Upload the CSV File
Under "Upload CSV", click "Choose File" and select your completed CSV file.
12. Assign a Sublicense
Choose the Sublicense that you want to assign to all the learners in the CSV. All learners will be uploaded with access to the same sublicense.
13. Optional: Add a Message
You can include an optional invite message if you are sending invites to the learners.
14. Review Learner Information
Click "Next Step" to view a summary of the learners to be uploaded. Ensure all details are correct.
15. Begin the Import
Once everything looks good, click "That Looks Good" to start the import process.
Upload Additional Learners
To upload more learners to a different sublicense, repeat steps #7 to #15 listed above for each group of Learners.
